Peanut Butter Cookies

Class, This is a group process. Work on this together. Use the comment session to record your conclusions. It would be good to not only record your answers but to, also, let your classmates know how you arrived at the conclusion. When you are confident that you have the recipe, send it to me. You are responsible for your own work. Figure it out, don't look it up. This is an exercise on thinking. Read all the instructions before you begin. You may use a calculator. I encourage you to divide the responsibility in this project. Here are some facts you need to know. 1 cup = 16 tablespoons 2 cups = 1 pint, 2 pints = 1 quart, 4 quarts = 1 gallon A teaspoon is 1/3 of a tablespoon Reduce the recipe below to measurements you can understand. Ingredients:        ¼ a quart of unsalted butter _________________         The same amount of crunchy peanut butter ___________________   0.0625 gallon white sugar _________________________

Answer all the questions in a comment section. Use your own name or initials. Come back later and read the other comments and reply to at least one.

Unit #1 Getting started.

After watching this video (it was part of the Unit #1 presentation) Answer these questions in this question in the comments. Name 1 way of thinking badly in the video that you would say, I sometimes do that (see HM's reply for an example). Write down one thing you hope to gain from this class. Come back later and comment on at least 3 of your classmates' answers. If we are going to grow in our thinking, we have to take ownership of and take responsibility for our own thinking, so you need to put your answers on this blog under your name, or you can use your initials. "HM" is me. 😁
